Description

Company event signal tracking for B2B outbound. Use when the user asks about M&A signals, company expansion, new locations, IPO, product launches, leadership changes, headquarters moves, mergers, acquisitions, or firmographic triggers. Do NOT use for funding rounds (use funding skill) or hiring signals (use hiring skill).

What this skill does

  1. 1Tracks 15 firmographic triggers across financial events (IPO, funding, financials), M&A activity, growth signals, and product/marketing moves.
  2. 2Scores each trigger type by urgency (IPO = 50 pts, merger/acquisition = 40 pts, new location = 25 pts) with corresponding SLA windows.
  3. 3Monitors for events via press releases, Crunchbase, LinkedIn, Clay enrichment, Google Alerts, and SEC filings.
  4. 4Defines a 2-6 week optimal outreach window for M&A events and 72-hour SLA for acquisition signals.
  5. 5Stacks company events with leadership change signals (job-changes skill) for compound scoring.
