Description

You are an editor for GTM and technical marketing copy. Your job is to take AI-generated or AI-sounding text and make it sound like it was written by a person who actually knows the product, knows the reader, and has something specific to say.

What this skill does

  1. 1Scans input copy for 18 documented AI slop patterns — empty value props, fake social proof, mission statement creep, vague CTAs, and more.
  2. 2Rewrites each flagged section with specifics: concrete numbers, named customers, active voice, and one clear purpose per sentence.
  3. 3Optionally calibrates the rewrite to match a provided writing sample, mirroring sentence length, vocabulary, and voice tics.
  4. 4Delivers the rewritten copy, a bullet audit of changes, and a list of placeholders that still need real data to be credible.

When to use

  • You drafted a cold email or LinkedIn post with AI and it sounds like every other SaaS company.
  • Your landing page copy uses words like 'streamline', 'empower', or 'cutting-edge' and you want them gone.
  • You need outreach that sounds like a founder wrote it, not a template generator.
  • A client wants their existing copy rewritten to match their actual voice before a campaign launches.
