Makes AI-generated content sound genuinely human — not just cleaned up, but alive. Use when content feels robotic, uses too many AI clichés, lacks personality, or reads like it was written by committee. What this skill does
- 1Audits content for AI tells across seven categories — filler words, hedging chains, em-dash overuse, identical paragraph structure, lack of specificity, false authority, and copy-paste conclusions — with severity scores per finding.
- 2Removes AI patterns systematically: replacing filler words with direct alternatives, varying sentence rhythm by mixing short and long sentences, and replacing vague claims with specific data or honest attribution.
- 3Injects the brand's specific voice by reading marketing-context.md or extracting patterns from a provided writing example, applying personal anecdotes, direct address, opinions without apology, and rhythm signatures.
- 4Flags when the original has too many AI tells for an edit to work and recommends a full rewrite, and when specificity gaps exist that require the user to provide real data before the piece can be credible.
When to use
- A draft was AI-generated and reads like it, with 'leverage,' 'robust,' 'crucial,' and 'furthermore' appearing every few sentences.
- Content passed an SEO brief but your editor says it feels generic and lacks any point of view.
- You want to apply your brand's specific voice to a draft that's structurally correct but tonally flat.
- A piece uses vague claims like 'many companies' and 'studies show' throughout and you want them flagged before publishing.
