Campaign Benchmarking
Benchmark your outbound campaigns against internal baselines, industry standards, and cross-portfolio performance data.
git clone https://github.com/kenny589/gtm-flywheel.gitDescription
Benchmark your outbound campaigns against internal baselines, industry standards, and cross-portfolio performance data. Know if your campaigns are actually good — not just whether they feel good.
What this skill does
- 1Compares campaign metrics against three benchmark layers: external industry standards, internal portfolio medians (by percentile), and segment-specific benchmarks for apples-to-apples evaluation.
- 2Generates a campaign scorecard that grades each metric (open rate, positive reply rate, reply-to-meeting, cost per meeting) against the segment benchmark.
- 3Produces cross-portfolio analysis tables and time-series trend charts to detect rising, flat, or declining performance patterns.
- 4Sets data-driven targets for new campaigns using historical segment data including median, stretch, and minimum sample thresholds.
- 5Benchmarks operational efficiency metrics (sends per meeting, pipeline per 1000 sends, time to first meeting) beyond vanity reply rates.
When to use
- Evaluating whether a campaign's 4% positive reply rate is good or bad for the specific persona and segment.
- Reporting outbound performance to clients or leadership and needing benchmark context alongside raw numbers.
- Setting realistic targets for a new campaign before launch using historical data from similar segments.
- Identifying which campaigns or clients are below portfolio median and need optimization before scaling.
