How to build your best list
The flow we recommend, then a few tips to get the most out of Retriever.
Ask Retriever for a small first batch (under 20) so you can judge quality fast.
Open the table and make sure the companies match what you had in mind.
Tell Retriever how to qualify each company against your ICP. It scores every row with evidence.
Add the information and signals that matter: hiring, tech stack, funding, news...
Happy with the sample? Press Get more leads to append more qualified companies.
In a new prompt, find the right people at the companies you kept.
Add emails, phone numbers and the context you need on each person.
Press Get more leads again to grow your contact list.
Pick the channel, how many touch points you want, and how they are spaced.
Your own instructions, tone and templates, so every message sounds like you.
Open any prospect and check the drafted messages. Adjust the skill and regenerate if the tone is off.
Download the sequence for Lemlist, La Growth Machine or Instantly and start sending.
More tips
The more specific and focused you are, the better Retriever performs. Make one clear request at a time and name exactly which signals you want. To explore, go step by step rather than in one big ask.
You can pack a lot into one prompt, but the more you add, the more likely Retriever misses a detail. It is deliberately conservative with its database calls, so it never burns credits you did not ask for.
To refine your qualification criteria, click directly on the qualification prompts (or the Add button) on the table, rather than retyping them in the chat.
When some rows come back empty or incomplete, ask Retriever to try a different source or method. It often can, even if it did not suggest it first.
Use Retriever to add custom columns, create new tables, and tier or score your list to focus on the best accounts.
